Katy Perry is one of my all- time favorite pop artists. Ever since she hit the charts with the single I Kissed a Girl she stood out to me as a singer. She had a unique voice, and in the pop genre at that time that was something that really stood out. She didn’t, and still doesn’t, conform to the general norm of pop and that is really something that I admire and love to see.
