Tegan and Sara have been one of my favorites since I first stumbled upon them. Like seriously though, what is there not to love about them? They are so amazing and one of the few people who are 100% authentic. They don’t pretend to be people that they aren’t, and that is one trait that is very uncommon with famous people. (And it really can’t get any cooler than lesbian twins from Canada). They are also incredibly talented. They both sing, play guitar and a little piano. Their debut album came out in 1999, and their newest just came out in 2013. They have a total of seven albums, and have collaborated with many large artists. They often change their style of music, starting out with a punk-rock sound evolving to an alternative-pop.
